In this game, you are a person who is struggling a lot with his own mind.

Having every kind of thought like we, as human beings, have: Anxiety, Fear, Anger and Sadness.

You have to defeat all of these thoughts, not by killing them or attacking them, but by just trying to ignore and go to sleep.

Such a cool idea for the narative and gameplay! Everything, gameplay, narative, music, art, fits prefectly into the theme! You must have put a lot of thougt into it.

Your main menu looks and feels amazing! (I also love options)

Improvement potential;

  • Try adding some pitch-shifting to your SFX next time to minimize the repetivness of them.
  • The gameplay also feels pretty repetitive. Some more variety would make a huge difference.
  • The screen shake is very extreme, borders to nausiating.

I really had to thought a lot about the theme and how everything could fit

About the SFX, I did some pitch variation, however, I think it was so subtle that it isn’t noticeable
